Anyone who loves drum and bass ought to know who Pendulum is. For the past many years they have been on the cutting edge, in my opinion, of live electronic music. They somehow manage to rock out like your normal band while pumping out an amazing and hard hitting industrial, rock/drum and bass tune. They are the type of band who modeled themselves off of The Prodigy and have surpassed even them. Having seen them life i can confidently say that they sound just as good and rock just as hard live as the do on CD. That is a trait i do not seen in a lot of artist now a days let alone ones who are putting out electronic music. In may of 2010 they put out their latest album Immersion. Unlike with a lot of their earlier albums many of the tracks had a more trance type feel as apposed to the typical DnB. However they did not lose the DnB all together, and what was created from this blend from this highly original band was something amazing. So today I bring you a neat little remix of one of my favorite tracks from the album Immersion, a remix of part 1 of the twin tracks, The Island.
