Armin van Buuren feat. Laura V - Drowning (Avicii Remix)

I have been on a bit of a trance kick recently and especially Armin Van Buuren. But of course who can blame me? Here we have another Armin track but with a bit of a twist because its the Avicii mix.

Ørjan Nilsen - Between The Rays

So here is a track produced by Orjan Nilsen and made famous by the one and only Armin Van Buuren. Between The Rays is a great example of an uplifting, energetic and fun trance tune.

TwoThirds & Mealor - The Dreambook

TwoThirds is an unsigned producer from the UK and this is his first trance track, a collaborative effort with Mealor.  Hit the jump to give it a listen.

DJ Eco - People (Rafael Frost Remix)

Oh my, how exciting.  This dark masterpiece will certainly send shivers down your spine, as it is a far cry from the usual happy or even melancholic sounds typically associated with trance.  Rafael Frost has turned this Eco track into an extremely unique tune.

Rank 1 - LED There be Light

I know it's a bit old [Trance Energy anthem 2009 hurr hurr], but I stumbled upon it today and for me, this is everything I need to love a trance song.  I'm not usually big into the genre, but there are some diamonds out there.  The melody is warmer and the kick really does a great job of keeping you rooted to the movement of the track.

Tiesto & Hardwell - Zero 76

Tiesto believe it or not is still kicking and with Hardwell has put out a new track that is gaining popularity quickly.

W&W - Alpha

Today i bring you guys some good trance. Once again coming out of the studios of Armada music is W&W's Alpha. The track was highlighted on Armin Van Buurens' weekly radio show A Sate of Trace and it really caught my ear.

The Cynic Project - Cherry Earth

The Cynic Project holds a special place in my heart in comparison to other groups. Alex Smith has been around for a while doing this but i still love all of the tracks. When i first started getting into electronic music years back i downloaded on of his tracks with no idea who the hell it was by.

Afrojack Ft. Eva Simons - Take Over Control

Afrojack makes a lasting impression with his song Take Over Control. He is also one of the artists I am looking forward to seeing at this years Ultra Music Festival. As it gets closer i will start giving the Ultra line up artists more attention but thats for later.

Tim Berg - Bromance (Avicii Arena Mix)

With a track title like Bromance you would probably expect this track to sound nothing like it does, but that is probably for the best. Coming from the prestigious Armada music label, owned by trance legend Armin van Buuren, it no doubt helps to boost an artist right away.

1200 Micrograms - DMT

I'm on a psy-trance kick these past few days, and 1200 Mics is definitely delivering!  The vocal samples in this track fit in very well with the overall theme of the track, and don't sound out of place in the least.  The pounding bass line straps you in, and the synths take you for the ride of your life.  An excellent piece of music, a fantastic example of psy-trance.  1200 Mics is quickly becoming one of my favorite groups.

Breakfast - Remember

This song always manages to strike the perfect chord with me, regardless of what I may be in the mood for.  Breakfast is an emerging trance producer from my home town, as well as a childhood friend of mine (we're talking 5 or 6 here).  Fruity Looping like a professional has earned him a spot on Ferry Corsten's label as well as a world tour and numerous spots on Armin van Buuren's ASOT.  Overall a fantastic song by a fantastic trance producer; look him up, you won't be disappointed (you will see him here again to be certain).

The perfect song to switch your mood from whatever it may be to relaxed and content, a perfect accompaniment to a great roll, some lucy, and/or your favorite strain all the same.

1200 Micrograms - LSD

I decided to kick things off with some psytrance, and what a great place to start.  This is a fantastic tune for guided meditation.  I smoked a bit before giving it a listen today, and if you choose to do the same, I highly recommend going full-screen and keeping your face up close so that you fill your vision with the vid.  The combination of alien sounds and trippy imagery started to really hit me with acid vision around 2:45, and by the time I was four minutes in I was sucked into the trance and tripping convincingly.  I'm a big fan of the panning helicopters and mechanical samples used on this track. Hit the jump for the embedded vid.
